...Otra vez nos topamos con un producto de una marca líder, que actualmente tiene la mayoría del mercado en el sector hogar/pymes.

...Hace pocos meses me compre la wii y me tenia que comprar un router wifi y no queria llamar a telefonica porque siempre que les llamo me acabo cabreando jaja malas experiencias con telefonica jaj supongo que no sere la unica, asi que me fui a una tienda d ordenadores y me compre este router, al principio he de reconocer que me costo instalarlo jaja porque venia sin clave d seguridad, pero una vez lo instale, no tengo ni un solo problema, al contrario ahora internet me va mas rapido, puedo conectarme inalambricamente y sobre todo con seguridad que nadie se puede conectar a mi adsl, en fin el Sweex Wireless Broadband Router 54 Mbps es una buena compra si lo que quieres es un router bueno ( es una de las mejores marcas en el mercado, jeja mucho mejor k el de telefonica)...

...El ruteador de banda ancha Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router WRT54G compacto de Linksys supone, en realidad, tres dispositivos en uno. En primer lugar, el punto de acceso inalámbrico, que permite conectar..a un pc a la red, de todas formas no recomiendo este router a nadie ya que sufre muchas fallas de seguridad , dicho esto el router tiene forma cuadrada con varios led verdes que indican el estado y la amlpitud de la señal , tambien tiene dos pequeña antena que permite enviar a un receptor la señal de red , es muy util para usuarios que no quieren llenar de cables su casa y que deciden que la señal vaya por el cielo atraqvesando paredes hasta su magnifico ordenador , inpensable hace unos pocos años ,pero ya esta aqui....

El mejor router doméstico.
Ventajas: Cantidad de opciones,señal,control total, es linksys
Inconvenientes Algo Robusto,Sin boton apagado, no tiene WPA2.precio.
...tienen como consecuencia que el usuario no se aclare con tantos acrónimos y siglas. Es una desventaja inevitable. Otro defecto es que no lleva WPA2 (tampoco el último Firmware, es decir: programa para actualizar el sistema con nuevas funcionalidades).. WPA es un algoritmos seguro de cifrado que si lo lleva, pero el nuevo (WPA2) que ha sido actualizado con varias mejoras no está disponible por ahora en este router.El botón de apagado que no lleva...La verdad es que yo no lo apago.jeje.
La señal es inmejorable, 2 vecinos mios lo tienen y me llega la señal a una distancia de 600 m
Y luego...el precio. Un producto de calidad y de marca se paga...
Tengo que decir a los futuros compradores que Linksys tiene routers de la misma calidad pero con más velocidad y mejores características. El otro día vi uno de 125 Mbps, pero tienen la desventaja...

Linksys WRT54GL, Lo mejor en Wireless en Norma G
Ventajas: Muy buena Cobertura y Compatibilidad

...Si estan buscando buena cobertura Wireless para su hogar u oficina este es el equipo indicado.
Basado en la experiencia que desarrolle en todas las instalaciones inlambricas que hice. El Linksys WRT54GL es el que mejor resultado me ha dado.
Tanto en la compatibilidad con los sistemas operativos y adaptadores, como tambien con diferentes tipos de Acces Points a la hora de usarlos como Reptidores del Linksys.
El formato de la pagina de configuracion via Web es sin duda una de las mejor. Practica y muy entendible, incluso para cualquier usuario que posee pocos conocimientos.
Otro dato que quiere agregar es que el WRT54GL tiene menor perdida y mayor rapidez en paquetes de informacion que otros routers en el mercado.
Economico y efciente, lo mejor en Wireless en norma G.
Es el WRT54GL de Linksys....

...Router: dispositivo hardware o software de interconexión de redes de ordenadores/computadoras que opera en la capa 3 (nivel de red) del modelo OSI. Este dispositivo interconecta segmentos de red o redes enteras. Hacen pasar paquetes de datos entre redes tomando como base la información de la capa de red.
Pues bien, como veis en su definición, se trata de un dispositivo para conectarse a la gran tela de araña que es internet. Tengo este porque el antiguo que tenía ya no daba más de sí y al ser Linksys una marca que me convenció bastante, decidí apostar por ella de nuevo.
Es un aparato muy MANEJABLE Y CÓMODO, puesto que es pequeño y se conecta via USB, además que su instalación es relativamente sencilla, lo que viene a ser introducir un CD en el ordenador y enchufarlo.
Es ROBUSTO en cuanto a que no se rompe, tampoco hay...

El router doméstico perfecto
Ventajas: muy potente. Firmwares adicionales disponibles
Inconvenientes no conozco
...He utilizado este router como recomendación infinidad de veces.
No sólo tiene unas características hardware que le proporcionan una estabilidad y desempeño excepcionales. El software embebido es su mayor baza.
Hay disponibles en internet, de forma gratuita, varios firmwares adicionales que pueden ser intalados en el equipo y que le proveen de capacidades de equipos de gama alta. Uno de ellos (me abstengo de dar nombres) incluso de proporciona capacidades de gestionar QoS (Calidad de servicio).
Conclusión: Merece la pena gastar un poco más de dinero (es un router algo más caro que otros) para compar un producto altamente robusto y flexible. con unas capacidades que exceden a otros de su misma categoría....

Linksys wrt54g2. Un buen router con bastantes posibilidades.
Ventajas: Muy configurable,muchas opciones,buena calidad.
Inconvenientes Dificulta configuracion para gente que no sea tecnico en redes.
...opciones de manera grafica y bien explicada. (Deben de haber pensado en sus usuarios menos expertos tambien).
Con ese programa ajustaremos a medida que nos lo vaya pidiendo el SSID, contraseña de ajustes,y agregaremos los distintos dispositivos que usara nuestra red cableada e inalambrica.
Para los que quieran mas ajustes,permite el tipico ajuste en entorno Web con el cual podremos abrir puertos,configurar el Firewall,permisos etc.
La cobertura puede parecer mala al no disponer de antenas externas (que por otro lado "afearian" el router) pero os puedo garatizar que de mis pruebas hechas , las señal logro atravesar unos 4 paredes sin despeinarse.
En definitiva es una buena eleccion para un eso domestico y no tanto....

Uso aventajado del Routes
Ventajas: buena relación costo vs servicio
Inconvenientes deberia tener antenas de mayor alcance en oficinas con muchos muros
...Tengo una oficna relativamente pequeña, en cuanto a personal, aunque en superficie tiene una extensión de 600 metros cuadrados. somos apenas 15 funcionarios y todos nos enlazamos apoyados en el router un moem adsl y un bridge. Las funciones de adminstración y seguridad del router son simples y confiables y sobre todo nos agrada por que nuestra red esta configurada para operar con cable o inalambricamente graias al router Linksys. Otra funcionalidad que nos parece interesante se refiere a la actualizacón de su Firmware,, hasta el moento lo hemos hecho en dos oportunidades y todas las veces con aboluto éxito. También nos parce muy buenas las funciones de bloqueo para la gnete que usa internet, a veces tuvimos que pesonliar los bloqueos ya que algunos de nuestos pocos funcionarioa abusaban el uso de este servicio, bajando la productividad...
